Analysis on Feasibility of Applying Low-Temperature Emission to Coal-fired Power Plant in Cold Weather

After the ultra-low emission(ULE) transformation, emissions of ULE coal-fired power plants in China have been reduced greatly. However, considering total amount emissions, are still among largest sources. And there may great potential removal colored plume and some unconventional pollutants such as condensable particles matter (CPM) sulfur trioxide (sulfuric acid mist). Though cold days, hazes occur frequently. Besides, low-temperature condensation is conducive to vapor, CPM flue gas. In this paper, a new method gas emission proposed for severe areas. The cooled by ambient air, discharged without reheating, remarkable effects can be achieved removing pollutants. technical feasibility environmental compliance applying plant weather analyzed. results show that winter effective water-saving, reduction elimination wet plume.
